Wow what a fun camp with my youth mates at Ubin!! Dec 18-20. Well u might think its a jungle there but really i didnt even believe the lodging was so good!! hahas well to the camp...
Ok on day 1... we met at my house!! yay haha before carrying a load of stuff and lots of water to the nearby bus stop to take 109 to the changi jetty.. But 1st we stopped by to play some games near the jetty at abt 10 since there was a nice grass patch there 2 play games. Jiapei & Eunice's games were good haha with xiang le being so cute during the skit =D.
Later on was the ferry ride into ubin which was fun but too short =). John was busy kapoing, trying 2 take fotos of other people =P. When we reached, we went straight to the chalets where we were staying and yea we straight away bunked in. The next activity was some race around ubin which was quite tiring haha even though it was not very long and our clues got mixed up which added 2 more complications. Anyways we were the 2nd(and last) group lols. Anyways there were no forfeits.. well except the warm coke =S. But we kept it cold when we reached our bunks and sadly it disappeared when i went 2 chk later lol. Well after that was our chicken making =D. Well we just did a lot of nonsense making a black pepper chicken & another 1 which i dun rly noe la =). Well we spent 1hr just listening to the fishing briefing later on =.= which was quite boring but then anyways was still helpful.. We onli had 30mins left to fish till dinner time lor =(. John caught a fish while the chickens were being buried =D. After dinner was our devotion time so pastor gave a message which lasted abt 45mins till we left and got ready 2 play bridge.. oops i meant sleep. Well we were eating our chicken & another duck since the stupid dogs stole a chicken =(. Wells after an hr for bridge we went 2 sleep lor since it was quite a long day.
Day 2.. was started off when we woke up for sunrise... just to realise the trees were blocking =(. Anyways i had 2 go back early to our bunks from the jetty since XL and I had 2 go prep breakfast xD. Yea after breakfast was another round of sermon from pastor before our "wall" writing =). We had 2 write something on a piece of paper on every1 elses back which was very fun xD. Well after that was lunch. After lunch was the water bombing which was extremely lame but funny =P After water bombing was our free time which ended up becoming free style cycling lols =D 1st casualty was Eunice hitting Marcus who was standing still... I couldnt believe what i saw lor! Anyways after like 1.5hrs of wondering around Ubin with Daryl Marcus Samuel and XL & meeting 5 deadends we made our way back. But the best were the rocky paths we ventured into. When we returned we heard of Chris' overhead flip and was bleeding profusely... broken wrist, neck, leg.. Haha good thing that he was fine and none of the above la since it was Kelly whom we heard it from =P. After that was our washing up and dinner b4 a short prep time for our talent night. Well at abt 8pm it was showtime! Well the other group went 1st and yea it had a lot of funny nonsense but couldn't beat our groups' randomness and therefore winning the most outragous performance =D. Well it ended on a high note and we more or less drawn with the other group so we didnt care abt the prizes... every1 just grabbed. Yea then we spent the rest of our night playing bridge!! After playing till 5am+ we got bored la so just went in to sleep lor. Anyway the next day was Sunday so we better get more rest =). And that about sums up our camp since we just made our way back to civilization at abt 8am and went 2 eat b4 piling up on another 109 back home... and i reached home 1st =D. like duh.. Yea it was a great camp!! Hope next yr will be better.
