Yea just came back from the 2nd youth camp!! 4-7 Dec. xD haha i guess it was as fun as the 1st camp!! Woo hoo!!
Hmm well this year was at the BB camp site in Sembawang =) Well its a 4day 3 nite camp. Ok let me start wif intro for my grp members =) Theres Lincoln the group leader, Johanna, Lindee, Cannan, me ^^, Jason(dunno who xD), Jolyn, Joshua Toh. OK well, we had 2 travel 2 the church, KKMC to register. Well for starters... i was late =P. Shi Xian waited for me and i onli reached bugis at 8.30 thinking i was on time. SX said must reach by 8am. So... we ran. like RAN... and we reached at prob 8.32am =D. and guess what?? We stoned there for like 45mins waiting for the bus after we reached and registered =.=".
Oh yea, there were like many new faces i didnt noe and like half my group are kinda new to me. So haha its been 1 yr since i seen lincoln and hes still as lame as ever =P(1st impression). The rest i didnt really noe so haha. Lincoln took out his laptop and started watching hanna montana(is that how u spell it??) Zzz so i just stoned there while i rmb bok chong was talking behind my back, literally cuz i could hear him =). The bus finally came and we were on our way 2 sembawang. The Sec1/P6 boys were VERy noisy haha and the whole bus was quite pissed. Well they 1st made fun of Lincoln since he tried 2 boast of having blue eyes =D. Still i got very bored looking out of the window. Not very friendly eh? lol i tried talking 2 people but then every1 just talked for like 1 min then went 2 listen music/sleep. =( Outcasted.
Well at the camp, the 1st thing was worship + icebreakers. So after placing our bags in the main hall we went 2 paint our flag =). well 1st my grp name was "spud"... like SPUD? whats that? well they said its part of Bob the Builder =P. still sounded quite stupid 2 me. FYI, Spud was actually a scarecrow. ANd our genious Lincoln took spud for those scud rockets. Well i just said nothing =P. SO therefore our flag was a rocket!... uhhh. Yea most of the painting was damn funny cuz it was v diluted and Lincoln was attempting 2 paint without dripping on the flag... Which was quite funny as our flag had many dots =). Then we painted our names there. After that when we moved our flag 2 dry, we realised someone =P not me spilt a LOt of paint on the floor leaving a puddle of white paint... Zzz. Hint hint its a guy and not cannan =P. When i saw other groups flag i got damn embarrassed cuz it looked nice =).. some la not all =P. Well after that we had 2 think of a grp cheer lol. We didnt have much ideas so it was quite lame. Dun ask me.
Anyways we had the games after the flag+cheer presentation =D. But sadly it was raining. Still they moved everything to shelter and still managed 2 play =) Games were quite inovative and some were really funny =P. e.g was the helmet game where there will be 2 pairs of pple where 1 will piggyback the other =P. Those on top will be wearing a helmet and have 2 snatch another helmet from the other team. It was the nosiest game hahas. The last game involved every1. Haha i dun think i shld go into detail but 1 part was 2 crawl in the grass at the back of the bunks... who noes whats there... After i finished i realised that i got a small cut =(. Irritaing. Well... after playing the games we were so tired out =P. We were given time 2 go bathing before going for dinner!! And all i rmb for the 1st day food was that i was horrible =(. I'm sorry guys but it seriously was killing me. Fyi.. i had stomachache right after eating the lunch + dinner for that day so i'm not joking =(.
Anyways, the worship and theme talk passed quite fast followed by the reflection which was lead/centered on Lincoln =P. Then it was cards time!! For a while that is.. cuz then some random guy that i didnt noe =P came 2 off the lights. So then we had 2 go "sleep". Haha i felt so weird sleeping so early so i was just listening 2 music & smsing... At 2am, Joseph was walking around half naked and complaining that it was 2 hot... Below Shi xian was saying it was very cold. lol it was v funny. Anyway i just took a walk at around 2 am since i had nothing 2 do. And the night was kinda starless so i just read bible on my handphone while listening 2 more music =P. At 3 am i walked back 2 the bunk hoping 2 catch some sleep. Still i couldn't sleep and at 4am i went out for another walk. After like 20mins i realised the time and remembered i had 2 get some sleep =(. Lol anyway i wasnt the only one around lor. I saw pple walking in and out occationally. I think i fell asleep at abt 4.30 liddat la. At 5 am Justin Heah's handphone rang... and woke me up.. like what the ****... i was quite pissed lor but didnt say anything =P. I slept again and woke up at 6.35am. Haha then some people were starting 2 wake up... and i gave poor shi xian my jacket since he kept complaining it was cold... poor thing =P. I went out 2 watch sunrise but then the stupid trees were so tall that it blocked most of it =(.
Day 2: Began with the usual morning devotion and some time for worship. After the songs we got 2 go eat breakfast. Breakfast was just bread and jam/kaya etc. But.. aha! Our group got cornflakes/cereal =D. Lincoln brought like so many so i got a pack of honeystars =) fantastic grp leader hahas. Anyway there was more teachings that morning... rather they call it workshops =D anyway after those 2 slow SLOW hours, we had lunch b4 prep for amazing race. Well we were all issued a plain green shirt for the race so we all stood out when walking around in groups =D hmm well for our race we had a black picture(no offense 2 anyone) which we could barely see lor. So anyway our aim was 2 get to the Sun Plaza where we would get bubble tea!! haha. After that then we went 2 sembawang CC which we eventually found out and we were 30-45mins behind every1 else =D. but who cares? I got my bubble tea and thats great! Anyway we just did our race and yea we spent the longest time at the Sembawang park where there were 3 stations haha. At around 4.30 then we made our way to Sun Plaza before going to our final destination. On the way to the Sembawang coast, we had 2 cut through many difficult paths with lots of tall grass. At 1 part when we were passing through some stretch of beach i slipped n fell on the rocks below =S. like oww.. Anyways lol we made it to the final destination eventually. Later we were fortunately sent back by car to our campsite lol. Shi Xian thought it was a ferry coming to pick us =D. Too naive in believing others haha. So after the washing up and my painful bath, we got 2 eat dinner. After dinner was worship and another talk and then the same kind of debrief. Later on we got 2 play bridge in our bunks =P.
The highlight for the 3rd day was the archery after breakfast which was quite funny haha. I did quite badly in the 1st few rounds but then i guess i got back my archery prowness =D yea and i ended off with a 19 which was great =P rawr!! yea and i totally missed 1 shot too which hit the fence =D. Shall not go into detail with that. After that was the 3hr long session of creating our camp video after lunch. Then we went for dinner lol. Very slack so far. Then after dinner was our presentation of all the videos. They were all good and funny. Well except bokchong group ba.. when they did a skit instead of a video. Bunch of jokers la =P After that was our underground church game which was called "shake it"... =.=" Yea we were all laughing at the start since it was so funny seeing llama dragged out of the room. Only until we were all dragged out to the parade square to squat down then did every1 keep quiet lol. I was squatting for some time till they got bored and began shuffling people around trying 2 make us walk in circles. Anyways my blindfold was not much of a blindfold so haha my eyes were not irritated. Whats more my handcuffs(thumbcuffs) were very loose so i could get them on/off easily. Well i got caught once getting them off haha and got some nonsense shouting before being left alone. Well squatting down for 1.5hrs was tiring =(. Then i was led to the interrogation room where they question and question and put cigerattes in ur face =P. well when he asked if i wanted a smoke i said yes!!... then i got a bucket of water instead.. so sad. Anyways yea all he asked was if i was a christian and believed in Jesus. Yea i said yes & was certain haha. And i got an 'A'! like lols.. yea it was rly funny. Then i went back 2 squat and stand for another hour or so before they decided 2 go slack. Then i went 2 toilet =D before going back 2 sit down.. like aha.. finally. Then i went to sit next to Shi Xian hahas. Well at first it was onli me and him then slowly people who finished came to sit together and we formed a circle hahas!! =D Abt 30mins later then the whole thing ended and yea we went back for a debrief.. where half the people looked like they were falling asleep and the other half asleep.. So yea after that it was 3am and then we went to play cards throughout the whole night =D. At first there were quite a number... then like one by one disappearing... haha and i rmb abi tay going off halfway and then coming back 1hr later =.=. lols so the onli survivors were like bokchong me ian and charmaine. And the other side was like shi xian and megan if i rmb correctly. Darius was there too. Yea that is already the next day!! So we went 2 shower at abt 7.30 before going 2 "pack" when i actually fell asleep during the 1hr =P. So the clean up was done by the rest when me and shi xian were sleeping, with bok chong on top of him. Really sick photos there. Hahas then we took the bus to the kkmc church. After a long service since every1 was half asleep.. but i didnt really get to sleep since every1 was laughing about the pawn shop + google =D. Hiya dun nid 2 go into detail. After the service we went 2 lunch at Tekka Mall with some other BB guys. Well that sorts of sums up my camp haha!
